Africa at Buddha Eden of Portugal
The first time I visited the Buddha Eden Garden in Bombarral, Portugal, I felt in love with this place not only for the beautiful gardens that are woven with statues of all sizes that stimulates your contact with nature, but also because all your chakras can be healed with the positive energy that surrounds you. During my second visit to this garden this year, I took my eighty years old aunt and one of my oldest cousins that came from Spain, to admire this beautiful place that they have seen only in pictures. In this short trip to Bombarral, we visited the four corners of this big garden sometimes walking to the areas with no access by the red train that visitors take, every fifteen minutes, to glance at first the size of this magnificent garden. My eighty years old aunt was very happy to take the tour in the train and admire the beautiful landscape at large. One of my surprises, this year, was to see the creation of a space called “Africa.” For me, this “Africa” garden is the salutation to the simple things in life highlighting the need to enjoy the present time and respect the ecosystem that surrounds us. For this month my photo album entitled: Africa at Buddha Eden of Portugal” tries to capture the essence of the human consciousness and the universal values that ties all cultures around the world.
