What is Creativity?
One of author’s recommendation is just to take a creative picture from different angles and see how our eye can previous the same scene from different perspectives and moods; using different lenses can help the amateur photographer to discover the power of his/her lenses(s). This is a great advice in order to explore other ways to capture a scene. Another great suggestion that the author gave in his book was related to the concept of the camera as a tool. Peterson highlighted that a camera, expensive or inexpensive, is just a tool that can aid you to “create a photo.” This concept really caught my attention. I thought that having a semi or professional camera can enhance your photo. According with the author, the camera -as a tool- only helps the photographer to capture a scene; the creative part comes from the human eye and the feeling and the mood from the creative person. After thinking a little bit about the simplicity of the information in the book, I was inspired to put in practice the two simple concepts that Bryan Peterson mentioned along in his book: experimentation and feeling. My album entitled: “What is creativity?” was the response to challenge my imagination, my mood and my heart. Enjoy the pictures!
